Iteration 1 : Someone opens a thread requesting something in Debian. Say, an erotic graphical system activity monitor.

Iteration 2 : Someone objects that this package can't go to main because [random reason].

Iteration 3 : Someone states that we shouldn't package this program because it might be offensive to women or to their 4 year old kids (that of course know apt well enough to install packages but not enough English to understand that the word "erotic" means "no suitable for kids").

Iteration 4 : Someone bashes both the bible and calls the people that wanted the package to be removed integrists.

Iteration 5 : Someone argues that if this packages goes to main, Debian might not be distributable in Swaziland because of stupid local laws.

Iteration 6 : Someone campaigns for more bureaucracy and proposes both a mind control front desk and a GR so that the social contact has a section regarding pornography.

Iteration 7 : Someone refutes a previous claim because a comma is missing or because a word was poorly chosen, then leading to a syntaxically false sentence.

Iteration 8 : Someone states that this package definitively won't be distributable at all in the USA because of the patriot act and the Bush administration.

Iteration 9 : The ensuing discussion deals with freedom of expression, compared merits of Christianity and Islam, history of the crusades ... Of course, or is no longer relevant with neither original subject nor free software.

Iteration n : Godwin law will apply.

OK, next lesson is "How to release sarge in 10 lessons". Gah, I'm fed up that so many people waste their time arguing cluelessly on such unimportant issues.
